Arrests Announced in Local Burglary Case
Two men have been taken into custody in connection with the multi-county home burglary investigation over the last several weeks. Sauk County authorities reported today (Friday) that on Friday, August 15th, Sauk County officials – in collaboration with the Richland County Sheriff's Office – executed a search warrant in the Sauk County Village of Lime Ridge. The warrant was issued following a lengthy investigation into numerous burglaries in Sauk, Richland, and Vernon Counties which occurred over a six week period. During the investigation on August 15th, 24-year old Ryan K. Murray of Lime Ridge, and 23-year old Bronson J. Bantleon of Oshkosh were taken into custody and are currently in the Sauk County Jail on Probation & Parole holds. Both men have been convicted and served sentences in state prison for residential burglaries previously.
