Memorial Day Celebration

The day has come again to celebrate the lives and sacrifice that fallen American Soldiers have given over the years for our country.  It is due to these people that we have the freedom and opportunities we have today.  Originally referred to as Decoration Day, this day was to honor the soldiers who died during the Civil War.  Now the day encompasses all soldiers that have fought and died in combat.  Please take time this Memorial Day to give thanks to those who have given the greatest sacrifice for our country.  Richland Center will hold their Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th at 10:00 am, which will conclude at the cemetery, where the Memorial Day Service will begin.
