Full Time Advertising Sales Position; Posted: March 16, 2017

WRCO AM & FM Radio in Richland Center, Wisconsin, has an opening for a full time advertising sales representative. WRCO is a locally owned station with a commitment to be a strong partner to listeners and communities in its listening area.

The successful applicant will be responsible for selling advertising, new business development and sales campaigns, copy writing and order entry, and service to existing accounts all with accurate record keeping. The ability to voice and produce commercials would be a plus. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Previous sales experience would be helpful.

WRCO AM & FM Radio are licensed to Fruit Broadcasting, LLC in Richland Center. Ron and Beth Fruit have owned the station since 1994. WRCO first signed on in 1949. There have been only four owners since. It's a strong statement about WRCO's community ties and commitment.


Aaron Joyce is WRCO's News Director. A graduate of UW Platteville, Aaron was employed at Wisconsin Badger Camp before coming to WRCO. Aaron anchors the AM 1450 News Hour at 8:00 and the News at Noon on WRCO FM 100.9 along with special reports and broadcasts.








Al Huschka has been with WRCO Radio more than 30 years. His radio career started in Viroqua. He then spent time in Prairie du Chien before coming on staff at WRCO as an announcer. After a successful sales career, Al is now spending time behind the microphone creating commercials.








Beau Hinrichs is the newest member of the WRCO Radio full time staff. Beau is heard weekday afternoons and also hosts "Old Country" every Sunday night from 6:00 until Midnight.









Jo Ann Krulatz may best be known as the host of Prime Mover on WRCO FM Saturday mornings. Jo Ann, an alumnus of UW-Richland and UW-Platteville, also hosts evening broadcasts through the week. Aside from the station, Jo Ann was one of the founders of GRACE (Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination) and still volunteers as a director.







Phil Nee is a longtime member of the WRCO staff. Heard mornings Monday through Friday, on sports broadcasts throughout the school year and every Saturday night on "Those Were the Days," Phil is doing what he always wanted to do. Phil also serves as a member of the Star Spangled Celebration Entertainment Committee.







Ron and Beth Fruit have owned WRCO Radio since 1994. Ron started at the station in 1972 as a part-time staff announcer. Today, Ron is the General Manager and host of the Morning Show while Beth handles the station's bookkeeping.
