Bidders Pledge $900 To Play TWTD Tunes

It was an amazing Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination radio auction recently. Two listeners bid for the chance to program fifties through the eighties radio memories for an hour on Those Were The Days.  The first bidder won the opportunity with a generous $500 donation to GRACE, and the second day total for one hour of Saturday night hits went for $400.  They will get the chance to play their favorite hits for you on Saturday night August 23rd.

There will not be a Those Were The Days broadcast on Saturday night.  This weekend marks the start of Green Bay Packer football on WRCO FM 100.9.  The pregame is set for just after 5 pm.  Old rock and roll will follow next weeks preseason game on August 16th around 9 pm.
