Happy Together Tour Tours The Country

This week on WRCOs' Those Were The Days, I will be playing some of the best tunes from this years Happy Together Tour.  It is my pregame show because the next day while I am at the Wisconsin State Fair, I will be in the crowd as the tour visits Milwaukee.   It will be the first time that I have seen the Happy Together hit makers since the mid-1980s.  This years lineup is again led by Flo and Eddie (The Turtles),  Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night),  Mark Farner (Grand Funk),  Gary Lewis (The Playboys),  and Mitch Ryder (The Detroit Wheels).  During their hit making days in the sixties and seventies, they amassed 30 top ten hits between them!  My friend Kent Kotal posted a list of the best of the best this week on his Forgotten Hits website......
