Spring Of 1965 On The Radio

Hey Rock N' Rollers!  This Saturday night on WRCO FM  I will take you back to some of the great pop radio tunes from 1965.  Even if you weren't alive, you will remember hearing many of these 45's on oldies radio through the years.  Though the Beatles had a big hit from their second movie 'A Ticket To Ride', British group Hermans Hermits had two songs in the top 20.  American group Gary Lewis And The Playboys were holding their own against the overseas musical attack.

Tune in 100.9 FM this Saturday night for another shot of Rock N' Roll from the 50's through the 80's.  Give me a call and request a song on Saturday night.  I would love to hear from you.  Listen for the 'Magic Cow Bell' and win something from the grab bag of goodies.  Prizes include water park passes, a gas card, cash,  food, auto parts, and more.  Listen to Those Were The Days this Saturday night.

Phil Nee
